Virtual Escape Rooms

Innovation in medical education is necessary to meet the needs of a new generation of learners. Using games and game-based learning is one way we can make education more engaging.

I’ve had the amazing opportunity to work alongside an incredible team of medical educators, pediatric emergency medicine experts, and toxicology experts through the creation and implementation of a virtual escape room. Our first virtual escape room is a Harry Potter themed, virtual adventure through Hogwarts. Learners work together in groups to uncover and solve various puzzles as they learn toxicology concepts in a fun, engaging environment.
